2 Corinthians 8–13
Young children
Memorize: "God loveth a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7)
Song of the Week: When We're Helping, We're Happy (CS 198)
Dance to the song with brooms, mops, and other cleaning supplies.
Pantomime ways to help other people in the family other than mother.
Choose to say father/sister/brother/etc. instead of mother on the line that says “And we like to help mother.” (could use this printable to visualize it)
First, have children sing cheerfully; then with different emotions (sad, tired, etc). Remind them that Heavenly Father wants us to help others gladly. Sing cheerfully again.
Monday
