Explain death and resurrection using paper spirit/body mittens.

Tuesday

Scripture
Have your children count with their fingers how many times you say "Christ" while you read 1 Cor. 15:12-22.

Wednesday
Doctrine: I can be baptized for people who died. 1 Corinthians 15:29
Scripture
Practice saying the phrase "baptized for the dead" from 1 Cor 15:29.

Activities
Show a church font and temple font. Tape the numbers 8 and 12 to the correct pictures.
Sing "I Love to See the Temple" looking for temple cards with paper roll spyglasses.
Have your child draw himself into this baptismal font (Ctrl F "font").
Thursday
Doctrine: I can be baptized for people who died. 1 Corinthians 15:29
Scripture
Ask "Who can we be baptized for when we turn 12?" Read 1 Cor 15:29 if they cannot remember. Ask where baptisms for the dead happen.

Cut apart each numbered section of It's Temple Time and hide them for your children to find and arrange in order.
Make a paper 3D temple baptismal font.
Build a temple out of blocks and have little toys visit it to perform baptisms for the dead (could use a cup of water as a font if you didn't make the paper model).
Friday
Doctrine: I can be baptized for people who died. 1 Corinthians 15:29
Scripture
Have your children try combing their hair without bending their arms. It is not possible without someone else doing it for them. Read 1 Cor. 15:29 and compare to baptisms for the dead. (Idea from here)

Saturday
Doctrine: Heavenly Father wants me to live with Him in the celestial kingdom. 1 Corinthians 15:40–41
Scripture
Read 1 Cor 15:40, whispering "telestial" and "terrestial," but loudly saying "celestial." Draw a sun, moon, and stars over the words in their scriptures.

Activities
Print these Plan of Salvation visuals and explain the Plan. Turn the pieces face-side-down and have your children pick one and try to tape it to the wall in the correct place.
Turn off the lights. Shine a tealight/penlight and flashlight behind paper stars and moon, respectively. Hold the sun picture up to the ceiling light and turn on the light.
Do this Steps to the Celestial Kingdom activity (pg 4-5).
