Memorize: "If ye love me, keep my commandments." John 14:15
Song of the Week: Love One Another (CS 136)
Cut paper hearts into 2-piece puzzles and scatter across the floor. Mend the broken hearts while singing.
Add dynamics using salad tongs. Sing louder as you open the tongs like a crescendo, and sing softer as the tongs gradually close.
Have your children take turns picking a heart that has a type of person written on it (brother, mailman, garbage man, teacher, bully, farmer, president, etc). Then sing the song using that name: "As I have loved you, love the mailman..." (Idea from Ann Leete)
